Sierra and Dspace are two global systems used by university libraries. These two software systems may contain common data in some areas. For example, a university library may store university theses or books and book chapters in both Sierra and Dspace. At this point, integrating the two software systems helps libraries avoid redundant work.
Integration of DSpace with Sierra
Both Sierra and Dspace have modern REST-based APIs. Therefore, integrating the two software systems is technically feasible.
